ready to film!

Since I decided to change the opening of my music promo, I have been to the front looking at the Liverpool skyline,  at early hours observing the sunrise to see when would be the right time to film, when the Skyline looks its best.

My filming schedule is complete, all my planning is complete, working with Rebecca and Tom is difficult because they Rebecca is in the school play therefore having to work around her studies and rehearsals could be tricky. Tom has his own filming to do as well. So I developed a filming schedule.

The only aspect of the filming I am waiting for is the weather, although this would not be a problem to film in, I need 'summery' weather. And blossoming, full trees. The bits I can/have filmed in this weather, are the Liverpool skyline and the fight/break-up scene

The change of the filming

Whilst the process of editing the music promo, I found that I wanted to do something unique and simple yet very symbolic and to make a strong impression on people.  I came across the idea whilst browsing YouTube, to reverse the filming at an appropriate time during the music, to show change, also by changing the colour of the film to grey to show dullness, in contrast to the bright summer day. The style-model that inspired this idea is Jason Derulo-What If. I found this effect, unique and exactly what I want for my music promo.
I am also using an outdoor location a lot, this is symbolic in it’s self due to the fact that the outdoor is full of natural surroundings and this is compared with ‘LOVE’ being a natural event in life and very much like nature love is forever changing.
I have included promotional text during the music video, as this is a promotional video for  the song, this is a sequence of news paper quotes and the number of hits sold.

I removed the cheating scene and the fighting scene and replaced it with the reversing of the filming.

changing ideas for opening scene.

what I want to achieve  ^
The opening scene was going to be a Bushy, blossoming tree. With depth of field for the 'it's way to clear for me' then the tree would turn into a dead, old and weak tree. This symbolises the lyrics 'don't like reality, it's way to clear for me' Also, I thought trees symbolise life, a new start and death. But when I planned to film this, I realised that it would be hard to film the trees, considering I would have to film in 2 different seasons of the year (winter, summer) so, I let my mind run lose and decided I would use the Liverpool skyline and the mersey river, the symbolism will be shown through the calm waves and the sun rise, as the new beginning, and the dark unsettled waves as the ending. I think this will be
