Syle models
My name is Tiffany Stapleton and I am in my final year in 6th form, studying media studies.
The Brief i chose was to make 2 television adverts for a new product, also a radio advert promoting the product.
I decided to do a fruit advert, I researched food, fruit and drink adverts in order to find the style i wanted mine to be, i found my style models, which are the Natural confectionary sweets company and the most famous, annoying orange known to man.
The reasons behind my style models are that I find there's nothing more interesting than talking sweets or talking food. It intises me to want to know what's so special about the product that's been advertised. Also, adverts are made to draw people in and to stick into peoples heads, which is why most sweet or food products have a catchy theme tune or a catchy slogan. The Natural confectionary sweets company repeat that they ''contain nothing but natural fruit juices and no artificial colourings or flavours'' they use funny ways to get the message across.
Whereas the Annoying Orange does not promote a product, it is just for entertainment I find it a great way to advertise. The Annoying Orange follows the conventions of an advertisement by using a catchy slogan, a catch phrase that will stick with people, which is ''HEY, HEY [name of character]'' Hearing this associates people with the Annoying Orange.
When my advert is finished I hope it has got the same impact as my two style models.
